Beer festival to open in central Vietnam

A one-day beer and culinary festival offering free beer and entertainment will be held next Saturday in central Nghe An province.

Jointly held by the provincial government and the Saigon Beer Company, the festival will take place in Cua Lo Town near Cua Lo beach one day prior to the 46th anniversary of the establishment of the first Vietnamese tourism company.

Those interested in the festival feel free to call 038.842044 for more information and for invitation tickets, which will offer each holder one bottle of free beer, mostly Saigon Special brand.

Those without the tickets will be given one beer bottle as a freebie upon buying food worth VND10,000 (62 cents) upwards at the festival.

Saigon Beer Company held a similar festival last year on the 30th anniversary of North and South reunification in Ho Chi Minh City.
