New Russia -Vietnam air route to be opened

The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam has recently granted Dalavia, a Russian airline, a permit to open a two-way air route from the Khabarovsk International Airport in Vladivostock, Russia to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. The Russian airline's first flight to Vietnam will land at the Tan Son Nhat Airport at 3:30p.m on December 19th and will take off at 9a.m the following day on its return flight to Russia.

The airline is expected to conduct five round-trip flights a month, using IL 62 airplanes carrying 172 passengers at most for this newly-opened air route. Each flight will last around seven and a half hours.

Air tickets are at USD570 per passenger for a one-way flight and USD950 for a round trip.
