Vietnam tourism schools join Asian network APETIT

(24 Oct) Vietnam now has a total of 20 schools in tourism and the restaurant services training sector which have been officially admitted to the Asia-Pacific network APETIT.

APETIT - Asia-Pacific Education and Tourism Training Institutes - form a continental network responsible for tourism cooperation and training among members. At present, the network includes 183 institutes and schools from 42 nations and territories in the region.

In a recent meeting in Hanoi, members of the network agreed to cooperate in exchanging students and professors among the institutes for further training, and agreed to work out a plan for professional certification of training among members.

The network will also set up a program for the overall development of tourism in member countries.
